All the work for the magazine is done! All we need is Seth to return the expert interview to us, then I can go to my dads work and print it on his high tech printer. Alex and I still have to do our TED talk, but we've been working on putting it together and will definitely have it done before the due date. I'm so happy with the finished product! The most meaningful part of the project was being able to see all of the hard work on a piece of paper. Inovation time was very meaningful because it allowed me to focus on a project I actually wanted to do. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do next year but I think I want to do. Something with cooking or animals.

This week Alex and I added a bunch of photos to our magazine. We're almost done with it! I also typed out a question sheet to give to Mrs. Redmond. Mrs. Redmond is our expert, and when she gives us back the sheet our interview will be done. Alex and I are planning on going on another photo shoot soon. We're going to get some more nature photos. We're also going to see if Groat will let us leave during Inovation time to go take the photos. Hopefully this week we will get the questions back from Mrs. Redmond, and be able to add some more photos to our pages.
This week Alex and I decided we needed to cut down some informal texts from our magazine. We spent our inovation time choosing what texts to keep and what ones we had placed in as fillers. This was a surprisingly difficult choice. We also worked on pictures placement and re wrighting the index. Next week we want to add more pictures and finish the index and formatting problems that's we are having.
this week Alex and I used the long weekend to go on a photo shoot. We found lots of really fun and colorful places to take photos. With all the photos we took, all we have left to do is assemble our magazine; and wright a few more informational entries.
This week Alex and I used spring break to take lots of pictures for our magazine. We experimented with different lenses and styles of cameras. We used a digital, film, and polaroid camera. My favorite was the Polaroid even tho we won't be able to include them in our magazine because I got to keep them right away. This week we are planning on adding our photos and working on the body. We're one step closer to finishing our project!
alex and I weren't able to work on our inovation project this week. I got sick over the weekend and we had to cancel our photo shoot. Hopefully this week we will be able to have one!
Inovation Day Blogthis week Alex and I continued to work on our magazine. This weekend we are planing on taking/ adding more photos to our pages. Although we didn't do much in wrighting, this week was a critical week for planning and talking about our options for printing. We are still debating on having a digital copy of our magazine but there has been no official decision.
this week I worked on my "Parts of a Camera" article. I ran into some trouble when I tried to add lines over the top of a picture of a camera. I called in my teacher to come help me, but after a long while neither of us had a clue how to fix it. When I got home I asked my dad for help and together we made it work! My article is almost ready to send to Alex and I'm so excited to see the final piece!
this week Alex got her wisdom teeth out. i still managed to work on the magazine without her though. I continued to write my articles. I'm still not completely happy with them but I'm thinking about giving them to Alex now and making some final changes later.
This week Alex and I continued to work on our magazine. I'm almost finished with my stories for the magazine. I also sent Alex lots of pictures for her to put into the magazine. No major format changes were made, but we were trying to find a date to interview a photographer. We're also going to make our presentations to present to the class.
